Custom liquid

General

You can use Custom liquid section to add custom solutions which require Liquid logic, such as quick theme changes or app inserts.

Note

Use this section if you're familiar with Liquid, Shopify's templating language. Be cautious when adding custom code to ensure compatibility with your theme and store functionality.

Section settings

You can adjust the following settings to align the section with your store's design:

  1. Color Scheme: Select a suitable color scheme for the section to ensure visual harmony.
  2. Full-Width Layout: Enable a full-width layout if you want the section to span the entire width of the screen.

You can also add custom spacing to your custom liquid section: 

Custom Spacing

By using the custom spacing block you can easily adjust the top padding, top margin and bottom padding of any section to suit your design needs.

Note: Values set in the custom spacing block will override those defined in the general theme settings, applying locally only to this specific section.

Steps

  1. Open the theme editor and select the section you want to edit.
  2. Click the section name to open its settings, then find and click "Add block."
  3. Select "Custom Spacing" and define padding top, margin top and padding bottom values for the section.
  4. The values you set will override the general settings in the theme.
