General

Cart-related settings allow you to customize the functionality and appearance of your cart to enhance your customers' experience.

Cart Icon

Choose the icon style for your cart: Basket, Bag, Cart.

Select the icon that best matches your brand and store’s aesthetic.

Cart Button Actions

Define the Cart Button behavior:

  • Show Cart Drawer: Opens the cart as a side panel (drawer)
  • Show Cart Page: Redirects the customer to the full cart page.

Define what happens on "Add to Cart" when a product is added:

  • Show Cart Drawer: Opens the cart as a side panel.
  • Show Simple Notification: Displays a notification confirming the added product.

Show Accelerated Checkout Buttons

When enabled, customers can see quick payment options like PayPal or Apple Pay directly in the cart.

Show Cart Recommendations

Displays recommended products in the cart.

  • Benefit: Increases opportunities for cross-selling and boosts the average order value.

Show Cart Note

Allows customers to add comments or additional details to their order, such as special requests or instructions.

Show Cart Link in Drawer

When enabled, a 'View Cart' link appears at the bottom of the cart drawer, directing customers to the full cart page.

Show + and - Controls on Mobile

This setting ensures that quantity adjustment buttons (plus and minus) are visible also on mobile devices. Quantity plus and minus icons are always displayed with larger screens.

Show Empty Cart Haiku

When the cart is empty, you can choose to show a haiku in the cart (if you wish to edit the haiku, find "Edit default theme content"). 

This adds a playful and memorable touch to the shopping experience, even when no items are in the cart.

Free Shipping Notification

The free shipping notification appears in the cart when the order value exceeds the defined threshold. To ensure this works correctly, you must also configure the matching shipping settings in your store.

Settings

  • Free Shipping Threshold – Enter the minimum order value required for free shipping (without the currency symbol, e.g., 100).
  • The value must be in your store's primary currency. Conversion rates for other currencies are calculated automatically.
  • Leave the field blank to disable the free shipping notification in the cart.

By adjusting these settings, you can personalize the functionality and appearance of the cart to meet your customers’ needs and align with your store’s brand. Fine-tuning these options helps optimize the user experience and drive sales.
